SKILLS, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCES

Youth / Communication Skills

I coordinate and prepare youth retreats, Lock-ins and getaways.
Spending significant time disciplining and mentoring youth.
Youth worship is a big part of my ministry and I do seminars and talks on the importance of prayer and worship in a youth ministry.
I have developed an outreach tool called 3-2-1 which is used in Youth ministries all over the country.
I’ve taken the attendance of a youth group from 5-7 students each week to 35-40 students each week.
I Started the "Youth Advisory Committee". This is a committee that meets once a month. It is made up of Adults and students on an advisory level to talk about what the best thing is for the youth ministry.
I Facilitate and prepare 3 different Bible Studies.
I organize and run 2 mission trips per year. One domestic and one International.
I have been involved with several different types of Mission organizations. I spent 3 summers doing missions.
I am always available for counsel and prayer for the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of the church, youth and congregation.
I Delegate responsibilities of the ministry to others. If a ministry is going to grow it is important to use all who are willing to be used. I also oversee all of the activities to their completion.
I prepare Sunday School lessons for the Youth and children.
I Build and maintain relationships not only with the youth but with all members of the families.

Administration Skills

For 5 years I managed my own full-time music ministry, which included all the office work, secretarial, promotions, management, graphics, shipping, recording, scheduling, confirming and following up of all events pertaining to the music ministry.
I Organized, facilitate and maintained the "North Columbus Youth Leadership Network" This is a network of about 30 different churches in the north Columbus area.
I have managed and lead several worship teams, including the one I am currently leading. · I Helped to start many new contemporary worship services all over the country
I Coordinated between 150 to 200 different events per year for 5 years this included concerts, retreats, camps, coffee houses, outreach events, servant events, and youth functions of all kinds
I Facilitated and scheduled everything for the band that traveled with me, including hotels, food, travel and the practice schedule

Office & Computer Skills

Operation of photo copier, paper folder and facsimile
I have Extensive telecommunication skills
I am familiar with -- Microsoft Office suite including: Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Access and Front Page. Also: Adobe Page Maker, Adobe Photo Shop, Adobe Reader, Corel Draw, Church windows, NSpire Youth Software, Word Perfect etc…
I've done beta testing for TCS Software
I've worked with every type of peripherals such as; Iomega Zip Drives, scanners, printers, digital cameras etc...
